Brook Larrison

Brook Thomas Larrison has served as pastor of FPC since May of 1995. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature (B.A. 1982) from Nyack College in Nyack, New York. Brook went on to complete his Master of Divinity (M.Div. 1985) at Trinity Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He has completed his classroom curriculum toward a Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Brook and Sandy Larrison both grew up in Toledo, Ohio and have been married since 1978. They have two sons and one daughter-in-law. Baxter, the chocolate cocker spaniel, fills in these days as the “kid” at home. Brook has served in the Wauchula community as one of the founding members of the Hardee Help Center, Hardee Thrift Store, past secretary of the Hardee County Ministerial Association and as a volunteer and mentor with the Hardee County Schools. He is a member of the local Lions Club having served as past president and presently as its first vice president. Currently, Brook is the Stated Clerk of the Southwest Florida Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America of which he is a member.
